The board of WGCC believes – and has always believed – that Black Lives Matter and that the time has come to take action. We must not remain silent or inactive witnesses when faced with the injustice perpetrated against Black, Indigenous, and racialized people. We are women – of all backgrounds – of privilege. We have a role to play in acknowledging the pain and the truth of racism. 

We are ready to listen, learn, and use our influence in solidarity.
